Helvetas Vietnam
Chi has twelve years working experience in a number of development projects and education programs in Vietnam. Currently, Chi plays the role as Deputy Regional Manager of Value Chain and Market System Development projects implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation. She has knowledge and understanding on gender inequality. Her academic background is International Relations and Governance and Public Policy. She dedicates to work for quality education and human resource development as well as to gender equality and social inclusion in Vietnam.
Chi strongly believes that people can be more open to talk to each other and share their interest through the arts. It is a way for community men and women, children and their parents to communicate about their concerns and can bring people closer together for a collective work to solve their problems. She also realised the arts can communicate messages and raise awareness and thinks artists could play a vital role in communicating on values of biodiversity conservation through ethical trade and sustainable sourcing of natural resources.
Chi is so glad to work with the creative SEAΔ fellows and to contribute ideas to bringing arts into the development world.
