Haratua Zosran Abednego is an early career anthropology researcher and arts practitioner based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Since his fieldwork in the sinking Kampung Timbulsloko, Central Java, Haratua has developed an interest in how sounds evoke and communicate a certain condition of inhabitation following sea level rise. This covers the “anthropology of sound” along with its methodologies in informing the role of inhabitant’s knowledge production towards climate justice.
