Unidentified Theatre
Tassakorn Seepuan is the founder and artistic director of Unidentified Theatre, graduated from Silpakorn University majoring in Drama and minoring in English. He has been developing art pieces as a practitioner since 2011 in the field of theatre and performance arts. Before graduating, his thesis was selected to be restaged in a public space in Bangkok and was nominated for Best Adapted Script of a Play/Performance award from IATC in 2015. This has led him to do art as a career. Nearly ten years of practice in art, his interests are sociology, psychology, linguistics, and politics. He always questions social issues to the society to engage audiences to participate in a spontaneous self-assembly. In August 2020, Tassakorn joined the Chiang Mai performance network to explore the potentiality of art from common objects: airpods, badges, toy guns, red thread, local food in a plastic cup, Chi-Chi sticks and fortune teller, torch and bathtub. Through these found objects he aimed to simplify conceptualization and representation by creating experiential visual performance art. Accordingly, he found that he prefers to initiate each performance art consisting of mixed elements as a multidisciplinary art to gain unidentified perception from passers-by.
