Mekong Cultural Hub

Bio: Khiem is an event coordinator at Cội Việt (Viet Roots), an educational organization. Khiem engages with cultural practitioners in the traditional performance arts: researchers, storytellers, artisans, and artists as he co-organizes stage performances, talk shows, workshops, and trips. As his organization Echoing Drum recently transformed into a social enterprise, he took on more responsibility in creating an integrated, organic ecosystem of experiences for our customers as an R&D assistant. Echoing Drum promotes local collaboration by making show-related souvenirs and merchandise using native inspirations and resources. Khiem completed a bachelor’s degree in Biology at the University of Science in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and has been working as a part-time volunteer coordinator in hospitals. He is eager in discussing ways to align the SDGs in Biotrade approach and tailoring these insights for their works.
