A community development worker based in the Philippines, Mayi's current work focuses on conducting community-based art workshops that integrate literacy and reading programs in urban poor communities. She's also a child's rights, environment, and mental health advocate.
Last March 2023, she was certified as an Expressive Arts Facilitator under Magis Creative Spaces. Guided by the belief that art is for all and a powerful tool for social transformation, cultural preservation, and personal healing, she is passionate about making creative expression accessible to everyone, regardless of background.
