Milya is an Art and Cultural Exchange Program Coordinator at The Japan Foundation Asia Center, Phnom Penh Liaison office (JFACPP) that its aim to connect people and expand networks in Asia through promoting bilateral exchanges and cooperation in various fields ranging from arts, film/moving images, music and dance, performing arts, sports, intellectual and people–to-people exchanges.
Through the programs of JFACPP, she has engaging with Artists, Art Practitioners, Social Activists, NGOs, Environmentalists across Asia. She sharpens her vision and expands ambitious to bring people from nation to nation come closer and to improve mutual understanding so that people is able to open up conversations and discussions through the arts.
In 2019, She was selected to be one of the representative for Mekong Cultural Hub, organization that aim to offer personal and professional development opportunities for creative cultural practitioners in Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand and to build sustainable networks around Asia.
In 2020, She was selected to The Living Arts Fellows Program which is a professional development program for artists and arts managers that provide the opportunity to creative and dedicated individuals who are already leaders in their particular field, and help them to nurture their vision and values.
