Bio: Naw Nan Noan Hom is a multidisciplinary artist and filmmaker based in Yangon, originally from Southern Shan State. She works across various mediums, including painting, installation, performance, and video art, while focusing on filmmaking since 2022. In addition to directing and editing films, she is experienced in sound design and music composition. Her work explores themes of women’s rights, human emotions, and environmental issues, often inspired by her own experiences. With several short films directed and curated exhibitions, she continues to develop projects that highlight extraordinary narratives and contemporary issues.
