Shweta is a cultural social worker/ activist based in Rajasthan, India, with an experience of over a decade of working with performing folk arts and crafts communities. Her area of work includes documenting hereditary oral traditions, indigenous knowledge systems, curating festivals/concerts etc with a special focus towards the rights and entitlements of these extremely marginalised communities. Along with her partner, she is currently involved in setting up their farm ‘Dheera Dhora’(Slow Dune) outside Pushkar (a touristy town) and experimenting with sustainable living and dry land farming practices.
