Phạm Út Quyên works as a Program Manager at Heritage Space, an independent art space in Hanoi, where she runs an annual art residency program called Month of Art Practice, which invites international artists to work and exchange with the young local artists and is in charge of developing content for Vietnamese Contemporary Art Database, a project that aims to create a digital archive of contemporary art practices in Vietnam since 1990. She also is involved in organising diverse multidisciplinary creative initiatives and collaborative projects with other art spaces situated in Hanoi and engages in freelance research and translation work. Her primary research interests centre around the evolution of artist collectives and independent art and culture spaces within Vietnam. She delves into the relationship between the state's policies on art and culture and the development of the independent art and culture landscape of the country.
