Wen-Hao Huang is a curator and installation artist. Huang founded ET@T in 1995, aiming exploring all possible art forms. Huang was born in Changhua city, Taiwan in 1959, and graduated with a degree in Botany from Chinese Culture University. Since 1983, Huang has worked continuously on the creations of modern art. Huang was selected couple times to local modern art exhibitions, and had many individual exhibitions as well. In the year of 1988, Huang and Pu Tsong, Ching-tung Liu, Hui-chiao Chen founded IT Park of Art Modern of Space.
In 2000, Huang co-created the media lab, Etat Lab, with Shih-yong Gu, Tsi-fu Chang and Fuji Wang, to do artistic explorations and technical developments of interactive installations constantly. Projects applied new media such as [T]Art and Submarines were produced then. Huang has served the following positions, Executive Director of Association of Culture Environment Reform Taiwan, Director of SOCA, coordinator of NAVIGATOR: Digital Art in the Making 2004, curator of b!as: international sound art exhibition, and the project manager of the preliminary space research of the new media art center of the National Palace Museum Taiwan. In 2006, Huang was responsible for Digital Art Festival, Taipei and also started the pre-opening office of the Digital Art Center, Taipei. In 2008, Huang served as the Chairperson of the Digital Art Foundation, and was CEO of Digital Art Center, Taipei during 2009 to 2017. At the same time, Huang had supported many young artists establishing techno-art startup companies. In 2018, Huang founded Digital Art Center, Taiwan, continuing exploring new art forms generated with digital culture.
