Professional Exchange 2023

MCH’s Professional Exchange Program is designed to support cultural workers (including artists) from Asia to have the chance for a multi-week exchange program in another Asian country, hosted by an individual or an organisation who has the right skills and experience to help them develop their personal and professional goals.

The 2023 Professional Exchange Program invited three artists from the Philippines, Myanmar and Thailand for a three months exchange program in Taiwan and Cambodia. MCH works with both artists and their hosts to establish the goals and the program for the exchange. MCH also facilitates coordination, logistics of the exchange and support the exchange as needed.

The 2023 Professional Exchange program is divided into two stages:

● The orientation stages in weeks help participants get to know each other and explore and network with the local art and cultural communities.
● According to their background and interest, each participants will then hosted by an individual or an organisation who has the right skills and experience to help them develop their personal and professional goals.

The Program is implemented in collaboration with host organisations Taiwan Art Space Alliance (TASA), Taipei Artist Village (TAV), Shin Leh Yuan Art Space, Art Site of Railway Warehouse (Taiwan), and Phare Ponleu Selpak Association (Cambodia).
